Drawing from the young Moxy spirit, the hotel sets inside the blissful garden of Hesperides with the design embracing and narrating elements of the story. The primary idea for this project unfolds at the intersection of various parallel investigations, all of which relate to the unique topology of the surrounding area, its orientation, the views, and to the distinct characteristic features of Cycladic homes such as their scale, density, and height.

Borrowing the name of the roman military unit, this is the first of the brand’s hotels. Located in an old office building, in the heart of Athens, the four star hotel aims to transcend the contemporary approach to hotel design.

Kalesma is the fruit of a stitchless collaboration between K-Studio, Studio Bonarchi in interior design and styling and the hotel owners, that binds modernism with the local tradition, reinventing mykonian hospitality by proposing a laid-back experience of island living.
